RAMBLING HOUSE
The first Rambling House session of 2017 will take place in The Heritage Centre on Monday night next January 9th at 8.30pm. As usual admission is free with a raffle and refreshments on the night - everyone welcome.
DEATH
The death occurred on Tuesday December 20th of Sheila Kerin (nee Buckley) of Adriville. The late Sheila was originally from Counguilla. She was pre-deceased by her husband Connie. The deceased is survived by her daughters: Eileen, Nora and Mary, by her son Humphrey and by her brother Dan and sister Mary. Burial took place in Scartaglen cemetery. May she Rest In Peace.
CHILDCARE CENTRE
Scartaglen Childcare Centres after-school facility will re-open on Monday next January 9th.
AFTERNOON OF PRAYER
The next Afternoon of Prayer in Our Lady of Lourdes Church Scartaglen and the first of 2017 will be on Sunday January 15th when John Delaney will again be present. Starting time as usual is 2.30pm. Everyone welcome.
CHURCH GATE COLLECTION
The church gate collection this weekend will be a Diocesan collection for “The Needs of The Holy Land”.
