Killorglin realtor’s aerial advertising plan

-

A KILLORGLIN real estate agent has come up with a novel aerial method to advertise their client’s properties.

Eschewing traditional photography Kerry Atlantic Homes are now using an aerial drone to record advertising images and videos of the properties on their books.

While a few realtors in Dublin have been using drones for some time Kerry Atlantic Homes are the first estate agents outside the capital to start using the technology to advertise their properties.

Kerry Atlantic Homes is owned and run by Catherine and Eddie O’Donoghue and they enlisted the help of their son videographer Stephen O’Donohue to provide the new drone imaging service to their many clients.

Stephen – a fully insured and licensed drone operator – runs film and videography company Adverts Ireland which has been working in partnership with his parent’s company since November 2016.

Given Kerry’s spectacular scenery many properties in the county are particularly suited to drone footage and Stephen O’Donoghue has recorded stunning footage of several properties for Kerry Atlantic Homes.

“It’s worked out very well so far and we’ve managed to get some great images and footage of several properties,” he said,

“It’s something new and its a way of giving a potential buyer a whole new perspective on a property. In fact KAH sold one property based on the photos and drone footage alone. The buyer didn’t even visit the property before purchasing it. That just shows how effective this can be,” Stephen O’Donoghue said.
