New Casey Stephenson merger up and running
CASEY & Co and EFSCO Services Limited are delighted to announce the merging of their respective businesses. The newly merged firm will now trade as ‘Casey Stephenson’.
Post-merger, which came into effect on 1st January 2017, Casey Stephenson is now one of the largest accountancy practices in Kerry and one of the largest independent practices in the South West of Ireland.
Both firms have established themselves as leading players in Kerry and the South West for over 40 years. The primary driver behind the merger is to continue to provide a superior, responsive and innovative service to all clients.
“Our merger will consolidate the experience, knowledge and resources of both firms. The new combined firm will bring many years of experience to the table and provide a wider and enhanced array of services to all clients,” said Chris Murray.
Ned O’Neill stated, “This is a significant step forward in our desire to meet the rapidly changing needs of our clients and is indicative of the progressive nature of the personnel leading the businesses.”
Both firms pride themselves on the close relationships they have built up with clients through the long service and dedicated team of staff, both in the Denny Street and Day Place offices. Continuity of the highest level of service to clients is assured with existing personnel continuing to work with clients as normal, while now having additional expertise at their disposal where required.
Meanwhile, the recent addition of David Moran (previously with EY in Cork) to the practice will see him heading up the Corporate Structure and Business Transactions Department. It is anticipated that an expanded Tax Department will be put in place to service the ever growing needs of new and existing customers.
The Day Place and Denny Street office will remain open and both firms wish to thank clients for their support and loyalty over the years and look forward to a bright future going forward.
