JS SPORTS UNDER 12 Girls Premier

KILLARNEY Celtic and Camp Juniors shared the points in a great game between these two young sides. Killarney Celtic led twice thanks to goals from Aideen O’Brien and Fiona Buckley.

Fionnola Casey twice pulled Camp Jr level to share the points for one of the new sides in Girls League. The work being done by Camp Juniors in promoting soccer in their club is great to see and they now have 16 girls signed up at this age group.

DALY’S SUPERVALU UNDER 13 Premier

KILLORGLIN are the leaders of the division after a hard fought 4-3 win at home to Listowel Celtic.

They now lead the Park by three points thanks to goals from Dara O’Grady (2), Ciaran O’Sullivan and Tom Whittleton. Kieran O’Carroll, Anthony Kavanagh and Robert Stack got the goals for Listowel Celtic.

Division1

KILLARNEY Celtic’s win over their nearest challenger­s Iveragh United saw them crowned as League champions.

They defeated the South Kerry side 4-2. Pedro Alonzo scored twice with Senan O’Leary and Peader Kelliher got one each for Celtic. Cameron Andrews and Mikey Kavanagh replied for Iveragh United.

Third placed Castleisla­nd were defeated 4-2 by Mastergeeh­a. Colin O’Leary and Mark O’Shea both scored twice for the Kilbrean side, while Alex Kapp and Ryan Dennehy from the penalty spot got the Castleisla­nd goals.

Ballyhar and Listowel Celtic B shared the points after a 2-2 draw. Stephen Palmer and Colin Callaghan got the Ballyhar goals with Jack Carty scoring twice for Listowel Celtic B.

Division2

WITH leaders Killarney Celtic B not playing Ballyheigu­e took full advantage to close the gap at the top to one-point as they defeated Dingle Bay Rovers 4-2.

Felim O’Sullivan hit a hat trick for the North Kerry side with David O’Sullivan. To make it an even sweeter three points Ballyheigu­e came from behind twice after Danny Kavanagh and Cormac O’Cinneide had put Dingle Bay ahead on two occasions.

Third placed Inter Kenmare were held to a 2-2 draw at home to Killorglin B. Adem Gul and Aidan Crowley were the scorers for Inter.

Division3

MID and East Kerry (MEK) will be delighted with their first win of the season after coming close on a number of previous occasions.

They defeated LB Rovers 4-3 in a seven-goal cracker. Eddie Moroney certainly brought his shooting boots as he hit a hat trick. His three were added to by a goal from Marc O’Sullivan Rouse. For LB Rovers Padraig O’Connor scored two and Cillian Horgan the third.

TRALEE TROPHY WORLD UNDER 16 Girls

LISTOWEL Celtic’s U-16s are a class side and vastly experience­d for their age.

They proved too strong for Mastergeeh­a with goals from Caoimhe Spillane, Aoife Horgan, Gillian Musgrave, Mary Bates and Aisling Kelly. Kate Lynch scored the Mastergeeh­a consolatio­n for her side who never stopped battling.
