SHARON’S GRAVE

The very talented Sliabh Luachra Drama Group will present John B Keane’s “Sharon’s Grave” in the Heritage Centre in Scartaglin on this Friday Saturday and Sunday February 3rd, 4th and 5th and again on February 10th, 11th and 12th. Commencing at 8pm each night. Bookings to 087 2434000. Admission : Adults E10, OAPs/Students E8.

AFTERNOON OF PRAYER

The next Afternoon of Prayer in Scartaglen Church will be on Sunday February 19th when Denis O Leary will be present. All are welcome.

BLESSING OF THROATS

Friday next is the Feast of St. Blaise and throats will be blessed during the 11am mass and 7pm mass in Castleisla­nd church.

GAA LOTTO DRAW

The January GAA Lotto Draw was held in O Connors Bar on Sunday night January 22nd. The jackpot was €7400 and was not won. Numbers drawn were: 10, 17, 20, 23.
