Celtic reach Under 15 regional final

Under 15 SKECHERS REGIONAL CUPS

KILLARNEY Celtic are the second team from the club to reach a Skechers Regional Final this season.

They have reached their decider following a 3-2 win over Limerick FC at Celtic Park. Terry Sparling scored twice and Jack O’Connor the third in the win. Celtic will play either Regional United A or Charlevill­e in the Regional final.

HEALY FAMILY UNDER 15 CUP

LISTOWEL Celtic A had goals from Darragh Lynch, Justin Cotter and Finlay O’Brien as they progressed past Dingle Bay Rovers 3-0.

Sean McGrath hit four, Mervyn Shalemba (2) and Colin Walsh and John Carmody one each as Park A got past Ballyheigu­e. A Cian Doe penalty was enough to secure a 1-0 win for Killarney Celtic B away to Fenit.

Premier JK SPORTS UNDER 12

MEK’S 4-1 win over Killarney Celtic C sees move up to second place in the table. Rocco Sheehan and Fionn Kennelly both scored twice in the win. Josh Bowler replied for Celtic C.

Girls Premier

LISTOWEL Celtic and Camp Juniors shared the points in a 4-4 cracker.

Listowel Celtic were looking for five wins from five games and were 4-2 up thanks to goals from Ciara Henderson 2, Kelly Enright and Ella Buckley. Fionnula Casey and Triona Murphy were on the mark for Camp Juniors.

The Camp club have been doing great work this season with their Girls teams and it proved worthwhile here as they came back to draw the game with Casey completing her hat trick late on.
