CARD DRIVE

Piarsaigh na Dromoda and the I.C.A. are hosting a card drive as we approach the 1st Anniversary of our former Club President & Lifelong card player. The Memorial Jer ‘the Yank’ O’ Sullivan Card Drive will take place on Monday February 27th at 7.30pm in the Dromid Centre. All the winning players on each table will receive a memorial plaque on the night. If you would like to play; please contact 0870968103 or 0876636072.

Forbairt na Dromoda have been announced as the “Laochra Ciarraí” winners for 2017. There will be an Awards Night on March 4th in the Ballsbridge Hotel Dublin. The Kerry Association in Dublin are looking forward very much to a big crowd from Dromid at this very special event. There are still a few places left .If you are interested in attending the event please contact Cathy on 087 6852570 as soon as possible as arrangements will have to be made for travel and accommodation.

Conversational Irish for fun is in Ionad na Dromoda every Monday night. School children and adults are welcome. 1 hour 7.30 8.30pm

Tuesday programme: The community nurse is available every Tuesday from 12.00 1.00pm or longer if required. Please avail of this wonderful service which is free of charge in the local centre. It is essential that June / Máire are contacted on 0669474782 by the Monday before to make an appointment otherwise she will not be available. Procedures available are; Blood Pressure checks, Dressings, Supplies, General Information and any health queries you might have.

Seirbhís Déardaoin /Thursday Services. On Thursday 17th we will have the company based in Ionad na Dromoda “Airmid Skincare Products” in and they will demonstrate and give a talk on their products. There will be lunch immediately afterwards.
