Fresh thinking at the Cantillon forum
THE Institute of Technology Tralee in association with FEXCO will host the 2017 Cantillon Conference on Thursday March 30.
The annual conference – promoted as a ‘forum for fresh thinking – is Ireland’s only one day financial technology conference. It is named after Ballyheigue native Richard Cantillon, an 18th-century banker, credited with the origin of the term entrepreneur and a pioneering economist.
This year’s theme is Building Borderless Business and the conference – which takes place at The Rose Hotel – will involve contributions by industry experts from companies including Indeed, SAP, DELL EMC, Accenture, Voxpro, Deloitte, Grant Thornton and FEXCO.
They will lead discussion on three key areas digital financial technologies, cyber security and digital building blocks.
MC’d by Miriam O’Callaghan, the conference aims to draw attention to the challenges and opportunities for Irish companies, both start up and established, in the area of financial technology as well furthering the discussion around attracting the necessary talent to support this growing sector.
Packages are available for individual delegates and groups with prices beginning at €120. To register for the event or for more information visit www.cantillon.ie.
