-

IT was a ‘platinum’ award win for Kerry firm TLI on winning the title of one of Ireland’s Best-Managed Companies for the seventh year running in the Deloitte competition.

Transmission Links Ireland (TLI) was awarded the prize at the Deloitte Best Managed Companies Awards gala dinner in Dublin last week, before a gathering comprised of more than 900 people from the business community in this country.

Run in association with Barclays Bank Ireland, the awards recognise indigenous companies ‘operting at the highest levels of business performance’. It’s the latest accolade for the Abbeydorney-based firm which services electrical power networks across Ireland and Britain and managed to grow its custom base significantly throughout the recession.

TLI MD John Tuite paid tribute to all the firm’s staff following the award:

“We are delighted with our Platinum award win from Deloitte. It’s wonderful to receive recognition for all the hard work & dedication our team commit to throughout the year.

“It reaffirms that what we are doing is working and that we are headed in the right direction. We would like to thank our entire team without whom this continued success would not be possible and everyone who helped us achieve these highly sought after awards for the last seven years.”

The indigenous firms recognised under the awards programme make up a network of 127 best managed companies, employing over 60,000 countrywide and generating a combined yearly turnover of nearly €11 billion.

TLI Group Financial Director Joe Rogers was delighted to accept the platinum award.
