CEILIÚRADH LÁ FÉILE PHÁDRAIG Preparations are well under way for the St.Patricks Day celebrations under the expert eye of Stella Moloney,Tommy Galvin and the events committee.Their efforts over the past number of years have brought several awards and hopefully they’ll repeat that success again this year.Go n-eirí leo. SCÓR The rejuvenated participants in Scór na bPáistí certainly did themselves proud over the last weekend. 1st. place in recitation once again was won by Áine Devlin - her second in a row.Maith thú Áine. The Ballad Group also came 1st.which was a great achievement.Well done to Lucy Jane O Gara, Jack Mc Crohan,Orianne McGillicuddy,Lucy Spellman and Evie Fahy. Unfortunately the Set Dancers were not placed even though they gave a fantastic display. Lucy Jane O Gara also competed in the Solo Singing. The 2 winners will now go on to the South Kerry final Sunday 12th. March in Killarney Racecourse while the County quiz final is on in Killorglin on Sunday March 26th.
