MINOR FOOTBALL LEAGUE Div2 Kilgarvan/Tuosist/Templenoe 4-11 Kerin O’Rahillys 0-4 The rain was falling and the wind blowing as the teams took to the pitch in Templenoe. Kerins O Rahilly opened the scoring with a point, a free pointed by Donal O’Sullivan levelled matters. Two wides followed, one for each team. KTT played some lovely passing football and a super pass from Daniel Casey to Donal O’Sullivan resulted in a great goal. KOR replied with a point. Points followed from Colin Crowley and Daniel Casey. Then a great pass from Tadgh Sugrue to Donal O Sullivan resulted in another goal. KTT dominated possession and Donal O’Sullivan struck a lovely goal from 21 yards out into the top corner of the net! Darragh O Connor followed with a point just before the half time whistle. HT KTT3-04 KOR 0-02 KTT continued to dominate and opened the second half with points from Donal O’Sullivan, Daniel Casey and Tadgh Sugrue. KOR scored a point from a free. Then Donal O’Sullivan in an almost identical kick as his third goal, kicked the ball into the top corner lobbing the keeper to score another goal. KOR scored a point again from a free and Donal O ‘Sullivan pointed a free. Seamus Brown scored a lovely point just before the whistle blew. Final score KIlgarvan/Tuosist/ Templenoe 4-11 Kerins O’Rahillys 0-04 KTT played fantastic football, we saw great passing, great works by the backs, Liam Twomey and Sean Casey having a great game. Overall a great team effort. Well done to all players and mentors.
