TRALEE TROPHY WORLD UNDER 16 Premier

THE Park got three three points on a 3-0 score line over Killarney Celtic. This gives them 21 points from seven games and an unassailab­le lead at the top of the Tralee Trophy World 16 Premier division.

Division 1

THREE points on a 3-0 score line against Ballyhar sees Inter Kenmare move up to this place in the table.

MORIARTY’S CENTRA UNDER 11

THE teams are into the second of their six week grading competitio­n. In mid-week Killarney Celtic had a double over Killorglin. In the Premier a Josh Bowler hat trick gave the Hoops the win while in Division 2 Celtic won 2-0 thanks to goals from Jason O’Reilly and Mark Daly.

Camp Juniors had two wins over Mastergeeh­a at Kilbrean Park on Saturday. In the Premier Paudie Fitzgerald certainly brought his shooting boots as he hit four with Karl Michels and Dermot Waugh getting the other two goals. Luke Daly scored twice for the Kilbrean side with Kieran Nagle getting the other goal.

In the Division 2 clash of the same sides Dean Goodwin scored twice for Camp Juniors with David Moore, Mark Farrell and Jack O’Neill getting one each, while Emmett Spillane hit two for Mastergeeh­a and Darren O’Leary for their other goal.

In Division 1 Inter Kenmare defeated Ballyhar from whom Daithi O’Shea scored all their four goals.

FOUNDATION SPORTS UNDER 14 Premier

A 2-0 win over Listowel Celtic A sees St Brendan’s Park move to the top of the table, albeit by only one point and they now have two games more played than Killorglin who are now in second place. Earnan Ferris and Darragh Caplis were on the mark for The Park.

KILLARNEY PLAZA UNDER 15 Division 2

A 1-0 win for Rattoo Rovers, thanks to an Adam Farrell goal has seen Rattoo Rovers extend their lead to five points over Castleisla­nd. St Bernard’s, who Rattoo defeated this weekend remain in third place.

The League wishes St Bernard’s player Oisin Maunsell a speedy recovery from an injury he picked up in this game.

INTER-LEAGUE ACTION

ON Sunday Kerry had three Under 12 sides in action against The Desmond League on Killarney Celtic Park’s All Weather. In the first game it was the visitors that won with the only goal of the game.

But the League youngest inter county players had two good wins in the other two games. Goals from Ray McGrath, Ben Egan and Owen Crowley gave Kerry a 3-1 win in Game 2 and Killian Boyle and Alex Hoare scored in a 2-1 win in Game 3.
