IN a battle for survival it was Killarney Celtic B that took the spoils in a keenly contested game. Rafa Barty 2, Conor McCarthy and Farouk Amidve scored for the winners. Cathal De Lacey scored both of Ballymac Galaxy’s goals.

TRALEE Celtic missed a chance to join Mitchels Avenue at the top of the table when they were held to a draw by Ballyheigu­e Athletic in a good competitiv­e game.

Fergal Moynihan 2 and Stevie O’Mahony scored for Tralee Celtic while Kevin Walsh 2 and Paudie Carroll scored for Ballyheigu­e.

CG Killarney are in the hat for the next round after a good win over CSKA Tralee in a tight encounter at Celtic Park in Killarney on Saturday evening.

Joe O’Donovan 2 and Tadhg Fleming scored for the winners with assists from Joe O’Donovan, Hubert Dziedzic and Billy Goulding. Best for the winners were Dave Keirns, Sam Treharne and Frank Cronin.
