MESSIER MARATHON

In the 1700s Charles Messier catalogued 110 night sky objects. Come and join top notch astronomers attempting to observe them all in one night in the Kerry International Dark Sky Reserve. The keynote speaker is Dr Matthieu Husson of the Observatoire de Paris. There will be Planetarium Shows from CIT Blackrock Castle Observatory, an Astronomy Equipment stand with Ktec Telescopes. For people coming from outside of the local area there are special accommodation deals with Hostels, a Guest House and Hotels.
