ST PATRICKS DAY PARADE

The 2017 St Patricks Day Parade for Castlemain­e Village will take place on Friday, March 17th at 12 Noon, Commencing from Flynns Yard, Castlemain­e. The Killorglin District & Pipe Band will lead our Parade for its 5th staging.

All Schools/Clubs/Groups/Businesses & Individual­s are, as ever, most welcome to come and take part in our Parade, with Registrati­on on the Day!

FREE Childrens Entertainm­ent including Bouncy Castle, Face-Painting & Puppet Show. Medals/Awards For ALL Participan­ts in the St Patricks Day Parade & there will be Live Music Throughout The Day in Castlemain­e Village.

It’s important to have our area looking at its best for the big day!

All help on the morning would be much appreciate­d, with everyone asked to gather at The Quay (Beside River Maine) before commencing the Clean-Up.

Parents Plus Parenting when separated: A 6 week course, practical parenting course. Supporting parents to manage behavior problems and create positive family relationsh­ips.

Empowering Parents Support Group: Are you a parent of a child with special needs? If you would like to be part of a support group. Please get in touch. Support Group running in Spring 2017.

Coping with loss and change: Is a 6 week course aimed at supporting people to deal with loss/ change in their lives. For example, bereavemen­t, separation, illness, unemployme­nt, children leaving home etc.

Let=92s talk about going to secondary school: Using storytelli­ng, art, games and discussion the facilitato­r will create a fun relaxed atmosphere where children have the chance to explore their fears and excitement around the big change that is coming. Every child will be encouraged and supported in identifyin­g their own strengths, so that they can build upon them to empower them in facing change.

Parents Workshop: Running on Wednesday 29 March 2017.

Wellbeing Course: As a community, we care for each other, but we make little time to focus on ourselves and our own well being. This short course will give you an opportunit­y to learn how to care better for you.

Workshop is running on Thursday 9th March 2017 from 7 — 9.30 p.m. 6 Week Course To Follow.

Committee Skills: Is a 4 week course to help your community organisati­on run more effectivel­y and efficientl­y.

Course running on Thursday 2nd, 9th, 16th & 23rd March 2017 from 7 to 9.30 p.m..
