COMMUNITY CARE LUNCH

The Firies/Ballyhar Community Care Lunch is on Wednesday 8th March at 1.00 pm. All are welcome.

SYMPATHY

Sympathy is extended to the family, relatives and friends of Neily Mitchell, Gortshanafa, Farranfore. Removal was to Killeentierna Parish Church and after requiem mass on Thursday to St Michael’s cemetery.

ANAM CARA

Anam Cara which supports bereaved parents, is holding the next monthly parent meeting on Tuesday 14th March from 7.30pm to 9.00pm at Recovery Haven, 5 Haig’s Terrace, Killerisk, Tralee.

31 is played in Marian Hall, Firies on Friday nights and Whist in Marian Hall on Wednesday nights.

COMMUNITY GAMES

Good luck to the Firies chess team who take part in Co Final next Sunday 12th March. The team are Benjamin Brosnan, Luke Costello, Simon Foley, Tristan Keating, Daniel Redmond, Danny Troth & Jack O Brien. Thank you to Tara Robinson & Jack Costello who are coaching the team.

On Sunday March 19th Cross Country u13, mixed distance races and duathlon takes place in Beaufort. Contact Jerome Crowley for further details. If anyone does gymnastics and wishes to enter community games competition on Sunday 28th March contact Hazel Norris.

Also the projects for u11, u13 & u16 takes place in April and the model making completions take place in April, if interested contact Hazel Norris.
