as Michael O’Donoghue (8) and Michael Foley (5) combined for 0-13 out of Spa’s total in a 2-18 to 0-11 success. Ronan Buckley managed five points for Listry but both themselves and St Pats are the only side without any points in the Division after two games.

Kilcummin, meanwhile, managed 19 points out in Blennerville, Phillip Casey (7), Richie O’Connor (5) and Noel Duggan (4) responsible for the majority of those as St Pats struggled due to the dismissal of Kieran Hurley in the first mhalf. A Brendan Poff goal offered them hope at half-time in trailing by 0-10 to 1-4 but Kilcummin goalkeeper Kieran Fleming made a big save in the second period from Kevin O’Shea to send the visitors on to a 0-19 to 1-7 success.

Ardfert were another team to get their first win at the weekend, edging out fellow promoted side Currow by 2-10 to 2-8 in the end. Although Cian Hussey scored the first goal of the game for the St Brendans side, Daniel O’Shea soon responded for the visitors with their opening goal as two points from the same player gave Currow a 1-7 to 1-5 interval lead.

Shane Griffin scored Ardfert’s second as they controlled the game a lot better in the second period, a second goal from Mike McCarthy for the visitors not enough to prevent a two point loss for Currow.

Waterville were the fourth team to get their first win as they got the better of Beaufort by 0-13 to 1-7 having led by 0-8 to 0-4 at half-time. Shane O’Sullivan’s goal for the Mid Kerry side proved only to be consolation near the end as Stephen O’Dwyer kicked six points for the South Kerry side in their win.
