THIS was a game both sides needed to win to enhance their chances of making the league final, but after a closely contested game they had to settle for a share of the spoils.

Both goals came in the first half with Danny Roche putting Dynamos ahead but Celtic struck back with Wayne Sparling setting up Matt Keane and he finished to the net. Both sides did their best to try and engineer a winner in the second half but it failed to materialis­e and now both sides will be hoping that the sides above them will drop points if they are to stay in the title race.

Inter Kenmare 0 Listowel Celtic 2

LISTOWEL Celtic move to within three points of joint table toppers Killarney Athletic and Fenit Samphires after a good win over Inter Kenmare. Kevin Bambury and Jojo Grimes scored for the Fealesider­s.

DENNY PREMIER B Skeliga FC 1 CSKA Tralee 4

THIS was a game Skeliga needed to win if they were to have any outside chance in the title race while on the other hand CSKA needed the win to try and edge their way out of the relegation.

CSKA had too much fire power for their oppenents an registered a comfortabl­e win over the South Kerry side. Chris Foley, David Rusk, John O’Connor and Cian Daly scored for the winners.

ATHLETICO Ardfert collected the three points with goals from JJ Prior, Daithi Griffin and Gary Hogan. Sam Dobbins scored for CG Killarney.

DENNY DIVISION 2 CS Clochain Breannainn 1 Castlemain­e United B 4

CS Clochain Breannainn stay rooted at the bottom of the table after going down to Castlemain­e on Saturday evening.

Wayne Coffey was the star of the show on the evening for the Mid Kerry side bagging a hat trick while Daniel O’Connell got the other goal.

BALLYHEIGU­E collected the three points without kicking a ball as they were given a walkover by Tralee Bay.

Windmill United B 2 Clanmauric­e FC 1

CLANMAURIC­E lost their second game on the trot going down to Windmill United which puts a dent on their title prospects. Brendan Savage and David Kerins scored for the Blennervil­le side.
