AN TAOISEACH

Enda Kenny TD attended the official opening of The Kerry Food Hub at Firies on Monday last. All units are now occupied and a staff of 12, between full and part-time are employed there.

OPEN DAYS

COUNTY CLEAN UP is on Saturday 8th April. Meeting from 9.00am outside Moriarty’s Centra, Farranfore. Bags, Hi-Vis and gloves provided -- if required. All help greatly appreciate­d.

KERRY LADIES

Emma Sherwood was a member of the Kerry senior team that beat Armagh on Sunday in Duagh. Martha Fitzgerald and Katie Brosnan were members of the Kerry under 14s that beat Cork. They will play Tipperary in the next round. Well done .

TEAMS - Our U14s travelled to Kenmare in the league where we lost out on a 5-2 scoreline with our goals being scored by Bryan Burke & Peter Cosgrave. Best on the Day were Dillon Butler, Aaron o Shea & Christophe­r Palmer. Our U13s made the trip to Ballyheigu­e in the John Joe Naughton cup but were defeated 3-2 after excelling in the first half with Stephen Palmer & colin o Callaghan scoring the goals while Conall o Mahony ,Luke Ring & Aaron Burke played excellentl­y. The Clubs U15s advanced to the next round of the Healy Family U15 cup with an excellent 3-1 home win to Mastergeeh­a. Dylan Callaghan ,Patrick o Connor & Jason Brennan hittiing the back of the net. Conor Henderson ,Brian o Driscoll ,Craig o sullivan & Seamus Nagle also played well in this cup tie.
