MINOR FOOTBALL: Despite losing this co league game the work being done with these young players is progressin­g well and they kicked some fine scores in an open 13-aside game. 2-13 was a praisewort­hy score but by the very open nature of the game the six goals conceded were hard to overcome. Despite our best efforts to change the match to Sunday morning so as that players could attend the KDYS Youth day the match was played in Cahersalee at 4pm.
