Under 17s seek to build on draw with UCD

SSE AIRTRICITY U17 LEAGUE Kerry v Cabinteely Sunday April 23 Mounthawk Park kick off 2pm Referee: Adrian Quirke

KERRY play their second home game of the season at Mounthawk Park next Sunday and will be fancying their chances against Dublin side Cabinteely FC.

Kerry will be in a positive frame of mind after securing their first point of the season two weeks ago against UCD. They played some very good football in that game and with a bit of luck could have secured the three points. Kerry lost their opening game 4-0 to Galway and went down heavily 6-2 to Waterford.

Cabinteely have lost two of their opening three games going down 2-1 to Shamrock Rovers and losing 2-0 to Bray Wanderers but they had a great 2-1 win over Cork City.

This is a game Kerry will be anticipating they can get something from but they will have to be firing on all cylinders if they are to get a favourable result.

They seemed to have shored up their defensive shortcomings in their last outing and will be going into this game full of expectation.

They have been improving with every game and a win would be a huge morale booster.

Home advantage will be in their favour on this occasion so hopefully soccer fans around the county will come out and support the team on Sunday. SSE Airtricity U-17 League Mark Farren Memorial Cup Draw
