Active Kingdom’s big day for Enable Ireland

CHILDREN’S activity event company Active Kingdom have teamed up with Enable Ireland’s Kerry branch to run a family fun day in aid of the charity.

It will be the second time Active Kingdom have organised such an event in aid of a local charity and this year’s fun day will take place at the John Mitchel’s GAA centre on the outskirts of Tralee on May 14 from 2pm to 6pm.

The event has been specially designed to appeal to both children and parents there will be a host of different activities and entertainm­ent on the day.

This includes bouncy castles and inflatable games; a magician; DJ’s, costume characters; face painters, nail painters, Kenny the Clown and much more.

Catering on the day of the event will be provided by Alma’s of Milltown who will be laying on a wide selection of food.

Active Kingdom offer a host of activity services targeted at primary school classes such as tours and summer camps.

The company is rapidly and last year over 4.000 children attended its school tours in Tralee with approximat­ely another 4,500 booked in for this year.

Active Kingdom’s previous charity day event – which was in support of the ‘Make a Wish Foundation – raised over €2.500 with nearly 600 people attending. This helped grant the wishes of four children in 2016.

Entry on the day will cost €5 per child or €10 for a family ticket.
