It’s a Tralee derby in relegation play-off game
THE draw for the Garveys Supervalu Senior Football Championship Relegation Play-off Round 1 has resulted in the losers of the Rathmore v Kilcummin Club Championship Round 1 game will play the losers of the Dingle v Legion Club Championship Round 1 replay on Sunday May 7 at 2:30pm at a venue to be decided.
Austin Stacks will play Kerins O’Rahillys next weekend at a Tralee venue at a time and date to be confirmed.
The Qualifier and First Round fixtures, times and venues have been agreed by the CCC in respect of the Garveys Supervalu Senior Football Championship:
Senior Football Championship Qualifiers and fixtures: SATURDAY MAY 6 (extra-time if necessary) St Brendans v Shannon Rangers at 6:30pm in Austin Stack Park Senior Football Championship Round 1 (extra-time if necessary) SATURDAY MAY 13 Austin Stacks v St Kierans at 6.30pm (venue TBC) Kenmare District v Dingle at 6.30pm in Templenoe Qualifier Winner v Kilcummin at 6.30pm (venue TBC) SUNDAY MAY 14 Legion v Kenmare Shamrocks 1:30pm in Direen East Kerry v Rathmore at 2pm in Fitzgerald Stadium Dr Crokes v Mid Kerry at 3:45pm in Fitzgerald Stadium West Kerry v Feale Rangers 2.30pm in Gallarus Kerins O’Rahillys v South Kerry at 2.30pm in Strand Road
Round 2A of the senior football championship will see the winners of Round 1 drawn against each other while Round 2B will see the Round 1 losers drawn against each other with the losers of the Round 2B games exiting the championship. Round 2 games are down for decision on the weekend of May 21st.

LAST weekend was a very busy one for the Keanes Supervalu Killorglin Minor Football Leagues and the way has been paved for the finals in al of the divisions bar Division 1 where the competition is at the semi final stage.
The following is a rundown of the various final pairings:
Division 1 semi-finals: Austin Stacks v Firies and Dingle v Dr Crokes Division 2: Cordal/Scar t v Listowel Emmets Division 3A: Fossa v An Ghaeltacht Division 3B: Gneeveguilla v Kenmare Division 4: Finuge v Annascaul/Lispole Division 5: Glenbeigh/Glencar/Cromane v Renard/St Mary’s Division 6: Castlegregory v Beale Division 7: Moyvane/Tarber t v St Pats
With the Kerry U-17s and minors playing over the next number of weeks the most likely date for semi finals in Division 1 and finals in other divisions is Friday, May 19.
If there are situations where final’s will not be affected by Minor and U-17 inter county players these finals may be played at an earlier date if possible.
