Their efforts paid dividend as they came joint third within the fair County of Kerry. LEE STAND FOOTBALL LEAGUE: Our assiduous U12 boys headlined the fixtures this week; both the Blue and White teams were in action last Sunday. Unfortunat­ely, it did not go to plan for both teams; the blue troopers met a very strong Keel side; losing out 3-07 to Keels’ 5-22. Yet, all wasn’t lost as the Whites came up trumps 5-12 to 2-06. Well done to both teams on their industriou­s effort. The boys continue their endeavours in division 4; Firies Vs Ballydonog­hue at home @ 6pm on Sunday, 30th April. LEE STAND HURLING LEAGUE:The U12 Firies Hurlers are in action in round 5 of the Lee Strand division 3 on Friday, 5th May at home in Pairc Eamonn at 7pm. Support would be very much appreciate­d.
