JOB WELL DONE FOR SOUTH KERRY MS BRANCH

THEY gathered from 9am in large numbers at the Killarney Royal Hotel in Killarney last Saturday for an expansive selection of confectionary items alongside freshly brewed and steaming pots of tea and coffee – all in aid of the South Kerry branch of MS.

This annual event is organised by Tara O’Donoghue and Ann Marie O’Leary, both of whom are involved with the South Kerry branch of MS Ireland.

“With over 350 people in attendance over the morning, we were de- lighted with the turnout” a delighted Tara said afterwards.

“Its great to see so many people come out and support such a great cause and we are so grateful to everyone who attended.”

Indeed, an industrious team of helpers and volunteers ensured that no pots or plates were ever empty on the day. Ann Marie had special words of thanks for all who made the event possible.

“We are so grateful to the Royal Hotel and their staff who assisted us in every way in the run up to the event and in particular, the hard working staff that helped out on the day. We also had a team of volunteers on the day and a lot of people baked for the event and we are so grateful for all their time and kind support”.

Both Tara and Ann Marie also wanted to thank all those who donated spot prizes to the raffle which was one of the highlights of the morning.

The south Kerry branch of MS Ireland provide much needed local support and services to people and families with MS in the South Kerry region.
