SYMPATHY
Sympathy is extended to the families of Fr. John Lucid PP Kilcummin and formerly Castleisland; Nora O’Leary, Mastergeeha who died recently. May they rest in peace.
FR. JOHN LUCID
The Parishioners of Kilcummin were left in shock when the news broke on Easter Sunday night of the sudden death of our Parish Priest Fr. John Lucid. Fr. John came to our Parish in July 2015 having served 12 years in Moyvane and since then had built a close friendship with all who came to know him. The large turn out last Wednesday and Thursday for his funeral services bore testimony to his popularity in Kilcummin and the previous parishes he had served so well during his ministry. To his family and friends we extend our sincere sympathies at this sad time. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam dílis.
