CAR BOOT SALE

The first of the monthly Car Boot Sales in aid of Kerry Hospice will take place on this Sunday 18th June in the G.A.A. grounds, Glenbeigh. This will be followed by another sale on the 9th July and one on 6th August. as organised by the Glenbeigh / Glencar fundraisin­g committee at the recent meeting. PREMIER B: Mastergeeh­a 4 AC Athletic 2. In their final game of the season the seniors had a good win at home on Sunday morning. Mastergeeh­a started the better and went a goal up when Colm Lenihan scored following a corner by Jer Sheehan. After this Mastergeeh­a when two up on the half hour when Chris Egan scored from the penalty spot after Noel Moynihan was fouled. However just before the break the visitors pulled a goal back. In the second half Mastergeeh­a went further ahead when Paudie O’Connor finished a well worked move. Shortly after Tom Templeman scored to extend the lead further. In the closing stages the victors pulled a goal but Mastergeeh­a got the deserved win to ensure promotion and qualificat­ion for the league final. The league final is fixed for Sunday 18th June in the Kerry District League Grounds at 2 pm. All support welcome.

TOMMY HEALY CUP: Tralee Bay 2 Mastergeeh­a 2. In this close game the seniors were unlucky not to win away on Friday night. Mastergeeh­a started slowly and were two down early on. However after this Mastergeeh­a dominated with Carlo and Damien Breen getting the goals to ensure the replay.
