LINDBERG FLIGHT

Killorglin History & Folklore Society has received a query from the USA from Deirdre McCrohan whose parents were Killorglin-born. Her grandmother used to tell her mother that Charles Lindberg’s plane passed over their home in Killorglin (21st May 1927) on the way to landing in France and she wishes to confirm this. MEALS ON WHEELS

If you have a spare hour around midday on any day of the week, you could help us help others in the community by delivering Meals on Wheels. Either drop into Killorglin Community Day Care Centre or call Geraldine or Noelle on 066 9790907.

SHORT MAT BOWLING

Glenbeigh short mat bowling is cancelled this Thursday 22nd June, as members are travelling to Kenmare to take part in a friendly open tournament.

Killorglin Bowls club will meet as usual at the Killorglin Sports Centre on Tuesday from 1.30pm-3.30pm. Everyone welcome, including beginners!

CYMS

Killorglin Bingo in CYMS every Sunday night, starting 8.30pm. Doors open 8pm. Johnny will be calling the numbers as usual, .

Artisan Market: Every Friday 10AM- 1.30 PM

SCHOOL OF ROCK

The School of Rock Music Summer Camp for Teenagers will run June 26-30th at the Family Resource Centre, Iveragh Park with music tutor Maria Ward. All instruments welcome.
