1. OUTDOOR YOGA IN TRALEE TOWN PARK

THERE will be outdoor yoga held in the Tralee Town park from 1pm to 1.40pm today, Wednesday June 21.

Donations will be accepted on thec day for various charities.

2. FESTIVAL QUEEN BALL SET TO BE HELD IN SNEEM

THE Festival Queen Ball will take place in the Sneem Hotel on Saturday June 24 at 8:30pm in what is promises to be a good night for all.

Tickets are set to cost €10 on the night and they are available from D O’ Sheas bar and the Sneem Resource Centre.

Music on the night will be provided by the Premier Blue Boys with a disco by Pat Casey to follow aswell.

The festival queen will be judged by local politician­s and the public on the night.

3. SANDSTORM AT BALLYHEIGU­E

REGISTRATI­ON is set to open for the 2017 version of the Sopin South West endurance event, Sandstorm.

The obstacle course style event will take place on Ballyheigu­e Beach on July 22.

4. JUNIOR CERT CELEBRATIO­NS IN FABRIK

FABRIK Tralee will tonight (Wednesday June 21) be the scene of a big celebrator­y ‘End of Junior Cert’ party as summer officially begins for all those whov have completed their exams this year.

Special guests on the night include Lynchy, Fabu-D and DjB.

The party will run from 8pm to 11pm, there will be a strict no-alcohol poiicy, searches will be in operation and admission is set at €15.

5. THE MID-SUMMER FESTIVAL HITS COURTNEYS BAR

COURTNEY’S Bar in Killarney will host their Mid-Summer Festival this coming week, with three great nights of music, beer and entertainm­ent set to keep all customers fed and watered throughout.

Musicians suxch as ‘Tim O’ Shea and Friends’, J Wagner and tyhe JOhn Connolly Band are set to perform over the weekend, with a few ‘trad sessions thrown into the mix aswell gfor good measure.

The festival will run from June 22 to June 24.

6. GREAT WEEKEND IN STORE IN BROSNA

IT’S that time of year again for the Con Curtin music festival in Brosna Village. THE village will be a hive of activity from June 23rd -25th this year, in honour of the late, great Sliabh Luachra fiddler.

The Festival kicks off on Friday night 23rd with a top class traditiona­l concert at 8pm, with renowned group Raw Bar Collective, joined by Waterford based singer Ciarán Ó Gealbháin!

7. MAGICAL WEEKEND IN STORE IN KILFYNN

THE excitement is already building in Kilfynn this week as they get ready to host the annual Kilfynn Fairy Festival in the village this weekend.

The Enchanted Fairy Festival will take place uon Saturday and Sune June 24 and June 25 and looking at the programme, it promises to be an excellent event.

From a wishing tree, a magival fairy trail, dragons, battles, bouncy castles, face painting, street entertainm­ent and a family picnic area, there is something for everyone.

Adults are set to cost €5 and kids are set to cost €4.

8. FABRIK TO HOLD LEAVING CERT PARTY

FABRIK nightclub, located at Godfrey Place in Tralee is getting set to host what it it is calling ‘Kerry’s Official Leaving Cert Blowout’ this Thursday, June 22.

Musicians Tom Zanetti and T.O Kane are set to provide the entertainm­ent on the night.

Doors open on the night at 10pm with support acts on the night set to come from Brian O’ Grady, Eanna Greally and Adrain Royle.

Tickets are set to cost just €11 and are available to buy from the B-Mobile store in Tralee and from www.ticketshop.ie.

9. GET EXERCISING THIS SATURDAY MORNING

JUNE is here so why not try to head down to the Tralee Town Park this coming Saturday morning and take part in the weekly park run?

The 5km run/walk is free of charge and is a great way to start your weekend. The morning starts at 9:30am sharp every Saturday.

10. GET DANCING IN AID OF VITAL CHARITY

THE Chernobyl Children’s Fund in Tralee will host their weekly social dance nights in the Grand Hotel this month.

The dances start at 9pm every Wednesday night the cost of entry for each night is set at €8.

The lineup for the month of June is as follows: June 21 - ‘Catriona O’ Sullivan’ and June 28 - ‘Shay O’ Callaghan’.
