Munster Senior and Minor Finals match and ticket arrangemen­ts

THE Munster senior and Minor football finals are just over a week away and the clamour for stand tickets in particular is in full flight. These games are all ticket fixtures with a capacity of 38,235 already set for Fitzgerald Stadium by safety authoritie­s.

It will indeed be interestin­g to see if either of the attendance­s of two years ago at the drawn (35,600) and replayed (32,300) games at the same venue will be matched but current estimates put the attendance figure at between 25,000 and 30,000.

The Minor game between Kerry and Clare throws in at 12 noon and the Senior game between old rivals Kerry and Cork has a 2pm throw-in time. Stand

There are approximat­ely 5,500 Stand Tickets for distributi­on between the three competing counties when Season Ticket holders are deducted from the stand capacity. The majority of these tickets will be allocated to the competing counties. A limited number of Stand tickets went on sale on Tuesday morning at the usual sources. Stand Tickets pre-purchased before midnight on July 1 cost €35 which includes the pre-purchase discount.

Terrace

Terrace Tickets also went on sale on Tuesday and Terrace Tickets are Colour Coded as usual , Green, for the St Finans end, Blue for the Lewis Rd end (both adult only) and Red for behind the Lewis Rd goal.

Terrace Tickets, if pre-purchased before midnight on July 1st cost €25. €5 Juvenile terrace tickets apply to the Red section only. Terrace Tickets may be purchased in advance at the usual sources including participat­ing Centra & Supervalu Stores (including all Garveys Superval Stores), Tickets.ie The Kerry GAA Store and Austin Stack Park,

Family Tickets

Family Tickets pre-purchased for the Scoreboard end cost €25 for adult and €5 for children.

There is a concession of €10 on Adult tickets for Students/OAP’s prior to entry with valid id at the designated stiles in each area.

Pre-purchase discount is valid until midnight on Saturday 1st July. Adult Ticket prices increase by €5 on Match day.

Bags and Ticket Search

RENEWED awareness of security means that all bags will be searched. Spectators are advised to expect a ticket and security search in the environs of the stadium and allow time accordingl­y. The advice is that if you do not need a bag - leave it at home!
