KILLARNEY HALF MARATHON

Last Saturday the club was very well represented in the Killarney Half Marathon & 10k, in what turned out to be ideal running conditions. Congratulations to Niamh Clifford who had a superb run to claim first place in the 10k, setting a new PB of 40.47 in the process. In the half marathon we had Sean Murphy, Stephen Griffin, Susanne Foley, Anne Gabbett, Siobhan Falvey, Anna Foley, Margaret Foley, Norma McHugh, Denise Smith and Linda Galvin. Well done to all.

GNEEVEGUILLA AC MILE

Despite the wet conditions last Friday, 50 runners travelled to Knocknagree to take part in the 3rd race in this series. The race finished with a dead heat for first place between Tommy o’ Brien and Laura Crowe both from An Riocht. Well done to Siobhan Falvey and Stephen Griffin who represented the club. The penultimate race in this series will take place in Ballydesmond next Friday at 8pm

RING OF THE REEKS

Beaufort GAA in conjunction with Killorglin Cycling Club are holding their annual Ring of the Reeks cycle on Saturday July 29th. There are 3 routes to choose from - 110km, 60km or 34km. Further details on www. ringofthereeks.com
