CONGRATULATIONS

Congrats to Fr William Collins MSC who celebrates the golden jubilee of his ordination to the priesthood this year. He was ordained in December 1967. We wish him God’s blessing for the future.

PASTORAL AREA

Since last weekend there is one priest less in the area. The PP’s of Castleisland, Brosna, Ballymacelligott and Killeentierna are sharing the services to Knocknagoshel parish. This will involve changes in all parishes.

The first change is that there will be no Sunday funerals from now on. This is already in place in two other pastoral areas and will come into effect in the whole diocese at the beginning of September.
