Tralee gearing up for Cycle Against Suicide SpinOff

-

ON Saturday, August 19, the community of Tralee will host a 50km cycle as part of the Cycle Against Suicide SpinOff series.

The Tralee SpinOff promises to be a particularly special event. It will depart from Austin Stacks GAA Club at 2.30pm and arrive at Ballyheigue, where entertainment, lunch and a mental well-being presentation will be provided.

The local community of Ballyheigue will offer lunch at the Community Centre from 3.45pm. A Mental Health presentation and workshops will be on offer, and guest speaker John Brassil T.D. will give a talk.

At 5:15pm the cyclists depart Ballyheigue for Tralee, with a group photo at Ardfert Cathedral on the way back. On arrival back in Tralee the cyclists will then lead the 2017 International Rose of Tralee parade through Tralee town later that evening.

This year we will also have Spin South West Spinnies accompanying us for the day, which is sure to bring even more fun and enjoyment to the event.

This SpinOff is the perfect opportunity to help spread the Cycle Against Suicide message, It’s OK not to feel OK, and it’s absolutely

OK to ask for help, while participating in an incredibly uplifting and positive event.
