NIGHT OF ENTERTAINMENT

There will be live music with Clare Horgan, Tim Browne and Paddy Casey every Wednesday in July and August at Tig Rosie’s, in Dungeagan, Ballinskelligs.

TOMMY FLEMING TICKETS

Following on from our very successful concert with Phil Coulter last year we now look forward to our night with Tommy Fleming on Sunday 13th August @ 7.30 pm in the Church of St. Michael the Archangel, Dungeagan, Ballinskelligs. There is still a limited number of tickets available so in order to book one contact Dessie at the Halla Pobal on 087 6792636. Tickets that have been pre-booked need to be collected and paid for as soon as possible.

AN HOUR OF RELAXATION

A yoga class is on in the Ballinskelligs community Centre, on Monday morning from 10.00am 11.00am.

ANNUAL GRAVEYARD MASS.

Many thanks to all who attended the Annual Dromid Graveyard Mass on the evening of Friday 28th July. Although the week’s weather was not the best we were once again blessed to have the evening lovely and fine with a slight breeze to keep away the midges!

The very thoughtful and meaningful Mass was concelebrated by our P.P. Fr Ger Finucane and our own Fr P. Sugrue. They were ably assisted by Kathleen O’Sullivan and her daughter, Julie who added a lovely accompaniment with their beautiful singing and playing of various hymns.

A huge thank you to all who assisted in the clean up of the graveyard and the setting up and removal of seating and the Altar shelter and who helped in any way. Míle Buíochas gach éinne.

The Annual St Finan’s Graveyard Mass will be held in the graveyard on Friday 11th August @ 7.30 p.m.

COUNTRY MARKET

Market is open every weekend until the end of August the market is located at Café Cois Trá Ballinskelligs which is almost on the beautiful Ballinskelligs beach. Browse stalls filled with locally produced Artisans foods, Crafts, goods and more. Enjoy live music with local artists from 1pm. Snacks and Refreshments are available from our newly extended café. HERITAGE CENTRE

Yes! Ballinskelligs Heritage Centre is open from 10.00am 4.00pm, and 7 days a week for the summer months. We would very much appreciate any ideas that would enable us to further develop our Heritage Centre.

We would be delighted if the public were to donate any manuscripts, documents photographs or any other relevant artifacts. Where possible items will be copied and originals returned to owner. Items can be dropped into the Community Centre Dungeagan.
