CUL CAMP 2017

Scartaglen GAA Grounds was a hive of activity recently when the Kerry GAA Kelloggs Cul Camps was held. 90 children participated in this year’s camp which ran from Monday the 14th of August to Friday the 18th. The children had a visit from Mícheál Quirke on Wednesday and he presented all of the kids with their gear. There was a sea of colour in the pitch on Thursday with all the kids in their orange and grey tops.

The Co-Ordinator for the Camp was Thomas Ladden from Keel and he was outstanding! His speeches both in the morning and evening were fantastic and everyone from the U6s to the U14s listened attentively each day when he spoke.

The coaches this year provided a week of fun, laughter, activities and skills. We were very lucky to have such a talented group of coaches with our children all week. The coaches were as follows: Aaron Murphy Keel, Gavin White Crokes, Kayleigh Cronin Crokes, Kieran O’Donoghue Cordal, Conor O’Shea Castleisland, Brian Crowley Rathmore, Daithí O’Leary Currow and Andrea Murphy Castleisland.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank each of them for the time, effort and encouragement that they gave throughout each day. Both parents and kids are looking forward to next year’s Camp already!
