We would like to extend a warm welcome to Paul (Junior) O’ Neill who recently joined the staff at Valentia Community Centre.

AUTUMN/WINTER BOOOKINGS

We are now taking sports-hall bookings for the Autumn/Winter season. Groups who used the Centre on a regular basis last year will be given priority. However, they need to contact Ursula on 087 7918188 as soon as possible to confirm their booking. Our sportshall is ideal for soccer, badminton, basketball, hockey, dance classes, exercise classes etc... Timeslots will be filling up fast so please get in touch to reserve a time for your group.

KIDS SPORTS CLUB

Our sports club for national school children resumes on Thursday Sept 14th. The club will take place on Thursday evenings with a different sport on each week. Registration takes place this Thursday Sept 7th at the community centre any time from 3-9pm. A form needs to be signed by both the participating child and their parent / guardian. The cost is €3 per session with discounts for siblings. Anyone who wishes to pay for the term in advance will get 13 sessions for the price of 10.

JUVENILE BADMINTON

Badminton for young people aged 10-16 will start at the community centre from Wednesday Sept 13th. Members of Iveragh Badminton Club will assist staff in running the sessions on Weds from 8-9pm and we really appreciate their help.

SOCCER TRAINING

Soccer for young people aged 10-14 will start this year at Valentia Community Centre if there is sufficient interest. It will be on Tuesdays from 6-7pm, starting Sept 12th. For more information on any of the above, please ring Ursula on 087 7918188.
