Ready, set, go for CBS The Green!

THE training has (hopefully) well and truly begun at the CBS The Green in Tralee as preparations get underway for the school’s annual 5k/3k timed fun run, which is set to take place on Sunday, October 1 at 1pm.

Now into its third year, last years run was a hugely popular event last year, organisers will be hoping for a similar turnout again this year - with both 5k and 3k routes offering fast and suitable options for runners of all ages.

There will be prizes on the day for the winners of both races, with medals for all participants while bouncy castles, music, a mass warm up, face painting and plenty post-race refreshments will all help to make this a family fun day for all to enjoy.

Registration is available from the school and also on the day of the run with the cost for adults set to be €10 for adults and €5 for students and children.
