MARRIAGE:

On Friday, September 1, the marriage too place at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Clonakilty, of Conor McCarthy of Tralee and formerly of Valentia Island and Marie O’Donovan of Clonakilty. Conor’s parents are Joe McCarthy (originally of Corobeg, Valentia) and Margaret McCarthy (nee Foley, originally of Laharn North, Over-The-Water), while Marie’s parents are Finbar and Marion O’Donovan of Clonakilty. Celebrant: Monsignor Aidan O’Driscoll Best Man: Conor McElligott. Groomsmen: Kieran Kiely and Kieran McCarthy. Chief Bridesmaid: Ciara O’Donovan. Bridesmaids: Valerie Woods and Eimear Tobin.
