Get ‘Moving On’

A NEW employment programme aimed specifically at women has been launched by North, East and West Development.

The ‘Moving on’ programme is a new scheme aimed at helping women “reach their full potential” through training, support, work placements and links with employers.

Aimed at women based in or near Tralee, Listowel and Castleisland no previous education or work experience is needed.

For those interested in taking part in the programme the NEWKD will host three free two-hour ‘Moving On’ information seminars later this month.

The Tralee seminar takes place on Tuesday, September 19 at the NEWKD offices at Aras an Phobail.

In Castleisland a seminar will take place on Wednesday September 20 at NEWKD in Crageens and in Listowel a seminar will take place at the Family Resource Centre in Ballygologue on Thursday September 21.

All three seminars will run from 10am to 12pm and are free to attend.
