The development squad games were played in Loughgeorge and Salthill. Players got lots of game time to improve and develop over the two games. The event was well run by the Galway county board with all players and mentors enjoying a plate dinner at both venues. It was fantastic to see such great support for the young players on the day from the parents that have followed both teams all year.

Sympathy

WE extend sympathy to the Favier family, Glenflesk on the passing away in Hong Kong, of Br Tom Favier.

A lovely gentleman and eductor, Br Tom left Glenflesk in 1955 to join the De La Salle Brothers and he has been in Hong Kong since 1964.

He had been a regular visitor to his family in Glenflesk. Ar Dheis Dé go raibh a anam dílis.
