Alpha set to launch its first SUV
ALFA’S new – and first – SUV, the Stelvio will cost from €47,295 when it arrives here in October.
Initially there will be two engine versions: a 2.2-litre 210hp diesel Q4 AWD and 2-litre 280hp petrol Q4 AWD. An 8spd automatic gearbox is standard.
After that there will be a 180bhp 2.2-litre diesel with all or rear-wheel-drive.
And there will be a 2-litre petrol (200hp) AWD.
The new car has four trim levels: Stelvio, Super, Speciale and Milano Edizione.
Entry level includes: 17ins alloys, LED rear lights, double exhaust pipe, dual-zone climate control, 8.8ins display infotainment system with DAB, Bluetooth/AUX multimedia connectivity, 8-speaker audio system, four USB ports (two front/two rear), cruise control, rear park distance control and automatic rain/light sensors.
Super adds 18ins alloys, 8.8ins infotainment system with 3D navigation and 7ins TFT instrument cluster, leather and cloth upholstery.
Speciale adds 19ins alloys/ red brake calipers, bi-xenon headlights, leather upholstery, heated front seats/steering wheel, aluminium shift paddles/pedals.
And the special launch Milano Edizione has sporty leather seats, 10-speaker Sound Theatre, 20ins alloys and rear-view camera.
