A VALENTIA Parish Mission will take place from Sunday, September 24 to Friday, September 29 and will be conducted by Redemptori­sts Fr Laurance Gallagher and Fr Derrick Mcskell. The programme is as follows:

11.15am. Mass- Chapeltown.1pm. Rosary at the Grotto. 7.30pm. Chapeltown Church-Opening the Mission-Baptism.

MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 25:

7.30am. Mass-Chapeltown. 10am. Mass-Knightstow­n. 7.30pm. Knightstow­n Mission Service-Healing and Hurt.

TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 26:

7.30am. Mass-Chapeltown.10 am. Mass-Knightstow­n. 11.15 am, School Mass. 7.30 pm. Chapeltown Mission Service-Justice and Values.

WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 27:

7.30am. Mass-Chapeltown.10 am. Mass-Knightstow­n.2.30 pm. Hospital Mass. 7.30pm. Knightstow­n Mission Service.-Mercy of Compassion.

THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 28:

7.30am. Mass-Chapeltown. 10am. Mass-Knightstow­n. 7.30pm. Chapeltown Mission Service-Night of our beloved dead. 8.30pm. Chapeltown-Holy Hour and Anointing of the Sick.

FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 29:

7.30am. Mass-Chapeltown. 10 am. Mass-Knightstow­n. 7.30pm. Knightstow­n Mission Service.-Family Evening. Closing of the Mission followed by a social gathering at the Presbytery. A time of grace for all, A time of growth for the young, A time of refreshmen­t for the old, A time of renewal for families, A time of healing for the broken, A time of joy for the sorrowing, A time of challenge for the complacent, A time of forgivenes­s for the sinner, A time of strength for the holy, A time of welcome for everyone.
