CHAMPIONS: Congratulations to Kerry GAA on a historic 4th All Ireland Minor title in a row - the first County to ever achieve that. Kerry 6-17, Derry 1-8. A phenomenal performance by Fossa’s David Clifford sees him finish up with 4-4 and never has a ‘Laoch na hImertha’ award been more deserved. Our own Fiachra Clifford was surely the runner up, scoring 2 goals and sending in an excellent diagonal pass for David’s hat-trick goal, while covering every inch of ground between the two sets of sticks. Murphy of Laune Rangers. UNDER 16 GIRLS: Laune Rangers face Legion in the East Kerry Ladies Under 16 Final on Wednesday, September 20th at 6:30pm in Legion grounds in Direen, Killarney.

UNDER 14 BOYS: Laune Rangers face Keel/Listry in the =91A’ Final of the Mid Kerry Under 14 Competition. The game takes place in Milltown on Sunday afternoon at 4pm. The game will be preceded by the B Final between Milltown/Castlemaine and Beaufort. UNDER 12 GIRLS: The Laune Rangers Under 12 Girls lost to Kilcummin on Tuesday, September 12th. They also faced Legion on Tuesday last, September 19th in their last home game of the season -- no result at time of submission. UNDER 10 GIRLS: Laune Rangers U10 Girls took part in the Passagewest Blitz last Saturday. A great day had by all with the girls playing teams from Kilmacud Crokes, Celbridge, Brandon and Mungret St Paul’s. Many thanks to all the parents who travelled and helped out on the day and a huge thanks to Nicole Moriarty who travelled with the club and reffed a number of games. UNDER 6, 8, 10 BOYS: Laune Rangers Under 6, Under 8 & Under 10 Boys travelled to Kilcummin on Saturday morning last. Many thanks to Kilcummin GAA for hosting us, and all had a great time playing football!
