CROSS COUNTRY

This year the three Kerry fixtures will be held on consecutive weekends. First up on 1st October are Juvenile Even Age, Novice and U23 Championships, which will be held in the Killarney Demesne opposite the cathedral. Then on 8th October are the Juvenile Uneven Age, Intermediate and Masters Championships in Currow. Finally on 15th October, Juvenile Cross Country Relays, Senior and Junior Championships take place in Killorglin. All events start at 11am and athletes must be a registered member of a Kerry club in order to enter any of these events.

KILLARNEY 10 MILE ROAD RACE

The 4th annual Killarney 10 mile road race will take place on Saturday 23rd September at 9am. All proceeds will go to the Community Track project. This will be a 200m track in the grounds of St. Brendans and will be of great benefit to all athletes in the area.

CHARLE VILLE HALF MARATHON

The Charleville Half Marathon took place on Sunday 17th September. Well done to Roland Eager, Siobhan Falvey and Denise Smith who took part in this event. All running very good times.

ALL IRELAND FINAL

Congratulations to Fiachra Clifford who won an All Ireland medal with the Kerry minors last Sunday. Fiachra had a great game and scored two goals in the process.
