Open day at Meánscoil Nuaan Leith Triúigh

-

MEÁNSCOIL Nua an LeithTriúigh is holding an open evening to introduce prospective students and their parents to the growing school.

The school catchment area includes all the local area and it is also served by buses from Dingle via Annascaul and Camp, Blennerville, the Maharees and Cloghane.

The addition of two classrooms which are planned for completion by December 2018 will extend the capacity at the second-level school from the present 150 pupils.

Meán Scoil an Leith-Triúigh was founded in 1961 by Aidan and Sheila Mulcahy when they started providing second level education in a hall in Castlegregory. Due to a lack of a suitable premises they moved the school to their home in Cloghane where it remained until the present school was opened in Castlegregory in 2005.

The open evening starts at 6pm on October 19 and everyone is welcome.
