Leen and Diggin nominated for camogie All Stars awards
NIAMH Leen and Patrice Diggin Causeway who have been nominated for All-Star award for 2017 for their hard work and dedication in this year’s Championship, Niamh as a defender in the full back line and Patrice in the midfield position. The All Stars team will be announced in Citywest Hotel Dublin on Saturday November 4.
Bucket Collection
On Sunday last, Kerry Camogie County Board held a bucket collection as one of their Fundraisers at the Kerry Gaa Senior Hurling Club County Final between Lixnaw and Ballyduff in Austin Stack Park. A huge thanks to everyone who volunteered their time and made it a great success and especially who donated to Kerry Camogie.
Killarney Camogie
Well done to Killarney U13s who took part in a Munster Blitz in Mallow last Sunday. They played against St Fanahans, Inniscarra and Ballyhea and were victorious against all three. Killarney will finish their season on Saturday with the Veronica Stack Memorial Tournament. All ages are invited.
Camogie Invitational Blitz
Tralee Parnells will host their final event of 2017 with a Camogie under-15/16 Invitational Blitz on Saturday at Caherslee Road.
Munster success for Reilly
Congrats to Rebecca Reilly and her teammates of Munster who were crowned U-18 Interprovincial champions on Saturday last on a score line of Munster 23 Ulster 12. Rebecca plays rugby with Listowel RFC and camogie with Causeway.
Finuge St/Senans into Final
Congrats to Finuge St/ Senans who beat Limerick’s St Brigids by 5-13 to 1-10 in the Munster Junior Club semi-final last Sunday in Mallow. They now play Aghada of Cork in the Munster Junior Club Final. Details on Final TBC.
