MINOR: Laune Rangers have booked their place in the Mid Kerry Minor Final following defeat of Keel/Listry on Sunday in Keel. Half Time Score:- Keel/Listry 0-3, Laune Rangers 3-6.

The final score of the game went to Rangers through Cian O’Shea with a super effort from the left flank. Full Time Score:- Keel/Listry 1-6, Laune Rangers 3-14. Laune Rangers progress to the Mid Kerry Minor Final and will face Beaufort, who defeated Milltown/Castlemaine in the other Semi Final on Sunday. MINOR FIXTURE: Laune Rangers will play Beaufort in the Mid Kerry Minor Final. The Final is scheduled for Sunday, October 22nd -- time and venue yet to be confirmed.

UNDER 16 BOYS: Laune Rangers host Beaufort on Saturday next, October 14th in the opening round of the Mid Kerry Under 16 competition. Throw in is 3pm on Saturday in JP O’Sullivan Park. GIRLS NURSERY: Our Wednesday evening Nursery football for Under 6, Under 8 & Under 10 Girls has come to a close. A very enjoyable final evening took place on Wednesday last culminating in a medals presentation. Many thanks to our coaches for their continued efforts put in all season, and thanks to the parents for their commitment to bringing our players to training & games. Most of all though, we thank our players for all their hard work this year and look forward to seeing them all again in 2018! SCÓR NA NÓG: The Laune Rangers Qualifying Round for this year’s Scór na nÓg will be held in the Intermediate School on Thursday 26th October at 7.30pm. The competitions are Figure Dancing, Solo Singing, Instrumental Music Group, Recitation, Ballad Group, Set Dancing, Stage Drama & Quiz. Young people, who live in the Laune Rangers area of the Killorglin Parish and who will be under 17 years on 1st January 2018 are cordially invited to participate. More information from (087) 1278638. MINOR STAR: A memorable year for our All Ireland Minor winning forward Fiachra Clifford continued on Saturday last in Croke Park, as he took his place on the Electric Ireland Minor Star football team for 2017. CONGRATS: Well done to former Laune Rangers player Kevin Cahillane, who represented his locality with pride with the Republic of Ireland Amputee football team in the European Championships. CEILÍ: Many thanks to all that came to the Céilí in the CYMS Hall on Saturday night last. A great night was had by all and Laune Rangers will be able to make a donation to the Irish Lifeboats after the night.
