THIS was a game both sides were

anxious to win but Ballyheigue Athletic hit Sporting Listowel with six of the best without reply. Pa McElligott, Kieran O’Connor, Frankie Flaherty, Darren Burns, Dylan Burns and Jack Stack scored for the seasiders. This win moves them up to second in the table and they should be in contention for a league final spot by the end of the seson.

AFTER winning their two opening games of the season Castlegregory had to settle for a point here against a good Windmill United side. Gary Savage (2) and Tommy Lynch scored for Windmill United

while Brandon Hoare, Damien McMahon and Maurice Slattery scored for Castlegregory.

THIS was a tight game that hung on the balance right up to the end. However Listowel Celtic eventually broke the deadlock with a superb

goal from young Jack Sheehan and he is a young player to watch out for in the years ahead.
