Ruaile Buaile set to raise a commotion at Crageens

-

THE Mad Ones Present Live at The Crageens is a series of gigs over the next three months where top Irish bands of varying genres will perform for the crowd indoors at Castleisland RFC.

Each night the band will be followed by a DJ and the all-important late bar. Night one, which was held two weeks ago, saw Cork band Hell For Leather entertain the crowd. Feedback from this event was superb and we are now really looking forward to the arrival of Tullamore based band Ruaile Buaile.

These guys have really been making waves in the music industry, having recently been featured on the Ray D’Arcy show and just finished a tour of America. Their unique cover of Maniac 2000 has over one million views on YouTube, a true testament to their talent.

Ruaile Buaile are a young Irish based four-piece modern day Trad / Pop / Folk group from Offaly in the heart of Ireland. The four friends, Niall (vocals and guitar), Arthur (fiddle and banjo), Shane (vocals and bass) and Jack (Cajun and banjo) formed in 2011, and have been gaining support from music fans and festival goers across Ireland, UK, Germany, Holland, France, United Arab Emirates, and America to date.

From a small start to the world stage in only a few short years Ruaile Buaile are set to become a household name on the festival scene around the world with their own style of high energy, ground thumping Celtic beats with a little Irish charm and flare. Gig details: Castleisland RFC, November 3, 9pm; tickets €10
