Two games down for decision as Crokes return to domestic action
WE have two games fixed next Saturday in the East Kerry Senior Championship, Aquila Club O’Donoghue Cup competition. Dr Crokes host Kilcummin ina quarter-final starting at 1.30pm in Lewis Road.
The first of the semi-finals sees Rathmore take on Gneeveguilla at 3pm. Neutral venue TBC. A man of the match award, of a year’s membership of the Aquila Club, Gleneagle Hotel, will be presented after both games.

A great afternoons show delighted the audience at the Killarney Credit Union East Kerry Scór na nÓg Finals last Saturday, in Killarney racecourse Auditorium.
The results were as follows: Set Dancing - 1st Spa, 2nd Kilcummin, 3rd Dr Crokes; Figure Dancing 1st Spa; Instrumental Music - 1st Kilcummin, 2nd Glenflesk; Solo Singing - 1st Kilcummin, 2nd Glenflesk, 3rd Dr Crokes; Recitation - 1st Glenflesk; Ballad Group - 1st Glenflesk, 2nd Killarney Legion. Glenflesk CLG won the Overall Best Club award. The County Finals will be held on Saturday, November 18 in Killarney Racecourse Auditorium starting at 5pm.
Meeting
REMINDER to all delegates that the East Kerry GAA Committee meeting is on Wednesday (November 1) at 9pm in the Killarney Heights Hotel.
Congratulations Kilcummin
THERE was a great turn out on Friday night in Kilcummin CLG for the launch of their 10-year development plan and fundraiser by Minister for Sport and Tourism, Brendan Griffin.
The impressive plans caters for new training pitch, a walking track and a purpose built accessible building including accessible changing rooms, treatment room, meeting room, dressing rooms and showers, referees room, fitness area/gym, office, access ramps and terrace.
All will benefit not only the club and its members but also the wider community. Kilcummin CLG is at the heart of the community and many community based activities.
